Our Rates
As a private clinic, Humani Medical Clinic’s general practitioners and health professionals have chosen private practice. This means they are not employed by the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) and are legally considered non-participants. Therefore, our services are billed directly to patients, rather than being covered by the Quebec government as in the public healthcare system. A detailed receipt is provided for each visit.
However, this non-participation in the public healthcare system allows us to offer quick services: there are no indefinite delays or waiting lists!
In our commitment to accessibility, we offer free patient file registration to help residents of the North Shore seeking quality medical care easily join the Humani family!

Telemedicine
Humani Medical Clinic is pleased to offer telemedicine services. If you are unable to visit in person or are located too far from the clinic, give us a call and take advantage of this new service.

General Information
- For medical consultations, especially if it’s your first visit, please bring a complete list of your medications (antibiotics, natural products, prescription or over-the-counter medications, etc.) and a detailed list of your allergies.
- We do not provide pregnancy follow-up at the clinic.
- During a walk-in visit, only one issue is addressed at a time. If you have multiple concerns or questions, we may suggest another type of appointment, such as an annual follow-up or a comprehensive health assessment.
- We collaborate with public and private resources to support your health.

If you need to cancel an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, a $75 fee will apply for cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Notice of Non-Participation
To Beneficiaries of the Health Insurance Plan
Please be advised that I am a non-participating professional under the health insurance plan. As such, I cannot claim payment of my fees from RAMQ. If you use my professional services, you will be responsible for paying the cost of services directly. You will not be able to request or receive reimbursement from RAMQ for insured services you have paid for.
This notice complies with the Health Insurance Act (R.S.Q., c. A-29) and its regulations.
